Catheter Embolization: A young boy developed swelling in the heel and the lesion was rapidly progressive in one month which was very discomforting with his activities. He was admitted and he underwent a left foot angiogram with embolization of the feeding arteries to the swelling. Postoperatively he was comfortable and went back home.
Bone Pain due to Benign Tumor in Ankle. Sclerosis with Cementing: A 32 years old patient developed ankle pain and worsened with activities which disturbed with her daily routine. Imaging showed that she had a benign tumor in her ankle bone which was involving the joint surface. Sclerosis and bone cementing were performed at the site under a single-session general anesthesia. Post procedure, within 24-36 hours she was mobilized with crutches and minimal pain relief medications and went home with complete relief of her pain.
